Situated in the heart of Lebanon, in the Bekaa valley, Chateau Kefraya expands its 300 hectares domain to the foothills of the Mount Lebanon making it the largest vineyard in Lebanon. The vineyard, together with the exceptional sun lighting six to seven months a year without any precipitation and the winery, fitted with a highly sophisticated equipment, allowed for the creation of a special and authentic wine, personal to Chateau Kefraya.

Its wines acquired their nobility titles in Lebanon and abroad. The quality of its products has been recognized and certified by the number and the prestige of the awards they received in international blind-tasting competitions. Gold, silver and bronze medals, without mentioning the trophies, the flattering articles in specialized newspapers and magazines, specially the most famous among them edited by the Pope of Wine Robert Parker, who entitled his text “An amazing accomplishment in Lebanon”.


Dry/ Red
Variety of vines: Cabernet Sauvignon, Mourvèrde, Carignan, Cinsaut, Grenache.

Chateau Kefraya’s great wine holds the richness, the harmony, the complexity and the originality of a blend of various vines (mainly Cabernet Sauvignon, Mourverde, Carignan and Grenache). This noble well-bred wine combines power and elegance, as well as volume and smoothness, with dense and silky tannins, and gives immediate pleasure and ages favourably for many years.


Dry/ Red
Variety of vines: Cabernet Sauvignon, Syrah, Mourvèrde, Carignan.

This barrel-aged wine is made of a superb marriage of the noble grape varieties Cabernet Sauvignon and Syrah. With a dark crimson colour, the COMTE DE M typically offers a complex bouquet of matured black fruits, tobacco, wood, cedar and spicy aromas. Very powerful on the palate, it reveals a delightful texture: robust, creamy, with highly melted, very elegant tannins.


Dry/ Red
Variety of vines: Cinsaut, Cabernet Sauvignon, Syrah, Grenache, Tempranillo, Crignan, Mourvèrde, Carignan.
Adorned by a sumptuous red colour with crimson highlights and relayed by an aromatic note and a red fruit bouquet, it has Kirsch flavour and a spicy hint of island cherries. Round and meaty, it can be consumed immediately, but if you give it time, it will evolve favourably.


White Dessert Wine Clairette

A glassful of sunshine! This natural sweet wine is made from a selection of golden matured grapes gathered in October then gently pressed. Served chilled, it accompanies appetizers, cheese and desserts.


The finest and purest Arak, free from any toxic substance such as methanol. This delicious white spirit is produced from successive distillations of an alcohol made exclusively from Chateau Kefraya’s grapes, with carefully selected green aniseed. Served as an aperitif and accompanies the traditional Lebanese meze.
